Good Afternoon, All 🌿
Today’s entry is dedicated to the parents and carers of children—of any age—who have neurodivergent tendencies.
You are doing an incredible job.
Please don’t let a tantrum, a difficult school report, or a lack of friendships make you question your worth or your family’s strength. These challenges are not a reflection of failure—they are part of a journey that requires more patience, more love, and more resilience than most people will ever understand.
To all the busy parents and carers out there:
You are the safety net.
You are the steady constant in a world that often isn’t designed for your child. You are the calm in the storm, the advocate in the meeting, the comfort in the night.
I know there are days when you ask yourself:
“How can I keep doing this?”
“Where will I find the energy for another school phone call?”
“How do I handle another friendship fallout?”
“How do I survive another sleepless night filled with anxiety?”
These moments can feel like injustice, disappointment, and failure all rolled into one. But please remember: you are not alone, and you are not failing. You are showing up. You are trying. And that is more than enough
From ND mum Marta – Have a good weekend !
